Rachel is now 6 months old and a blessing in every sense of the word. She has been an easy baby all along - happy much of the time, sleeping through the night at 8 weeks, and just as sweet as can be. Her name means “Lamb of God,” and we have decorated her nursery in lambs. We maintain a website at www.shorterdesigns.com/shorters that we update monthly with pictures of her if you’d like to have a look!
Kevin has one more semester of business school at Wake Forest and is currently looking for a job in the marketing field somewhere in North Carolina. He is very talented and loves what he is learning, so he will no doubt be a wonderful asset wherever the Lord leads us.
Alli is primarily a stay at home mom, which she loves! But she also still works part-time with her business as a professional organizer, which she also really enjoys. Kevin doesn’t have class on Fridays or Saturdays, so she works on those days and lets Kevin have some alone time with Rachel, which they both look forward to.
Overall our lives are so full with blessing. We have great friendships and a wonderful church home. Being near our families after years of living in Florida has also been refreshing. The Lord has been so gracious to us, and we couldn’t ask for anything more.
On a sad note since many of you know her, our dog Teddy was put to sleep last week. She was a wonderful part of our family for 14 years, and she will be missed dearly…
Drop us a line when you can. We’d love to hear from you! Many blessings to you and yours!
Love,
Kevin, Alli, and Rachel Shorter
